I hate to say that, but it looks like I had to end my previous blog (those of you who have been with me from the 'beginning' will know what I am talking about), due to some weird circumstances including forgotten passwords, broken computers, and laziness. I was thoroughly inspired by many many blogs of some amazing missionaries I never actually met, but always enjoyed 'following' here on blogger, so I thought it might be a good idea to start one of my own again. I hope my title will not scare anyone - anybody who knows me has come, in one way or another, in contact with my yellow shoes that I will never throw away (that's why my mom made me leave home. Just kidding, it was my faith that drove her nuts), knows that I am on a mission trip called life (okay, I really am on a mission trip, I am just trying to sound poetic at the same time) and those of you who were ever involved in long-term missons of any kind, probably know what a breakdown looks like.
I really do hope I will not lose the password of this blog, and I also hope it will not be too boring to read (or to write, for that matter). Sometimes, we all need new beginnings. It is so easy to get caught up in the middle or feel overwhelmed by the whirlwind of life, so trying to keep this blog is like opening a new window that will bring fresh air to me. Sometimes, all you need is just a little laughter. And maybe my attempts at trying to look at my own failures at a different angle - or in a different light, for those of you who can't stand geometry (angle is a shape, if you don't get it) - anyway, maybe those attemps will encourage someone, or give someone a glimpse of hope, or just add a little bit of sunshine into someone's day. I just hope these posts will not be in vain.
Thank you so much for visiting, and I pray you have more fulfilling things to do today than reading this. Because this... thing is not going to be fulfilling. Ha ha.
Be blessed,
Liza
P.S. There are two magic words I would like EVERY one of you to remember if (or when) you come across something in this blog that you think is weird, gross, or just hardly understandable. The two magic words are: Just Kidding.
